Versai the Wine Bar Teams With Directbuy

Robert Sarai, the innovative restaurateur of Fitness Pizza & Grill, and the newly minted Versai the Wine Bar, knows his neighbors need help after suffering losses caused by recent fires that destroyed more than 150 homes in the city.

Teaming up with DirectBuy of Orange County, the versatile Sarai announced plans to host a wine and food event on Wednesday, January 14, at his elegant wine bar to help contribute relief to fire victims. The event will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

He states, “We are all affected when disaster strikes, and our impulse is first to help our neighbors and support their rebuilding efforts. We will pull out all stops to make this event delicious, effervescent, and memorable.”

Sarai, a DirectBuy member, was thrilled when Geoff and Ann Rocke, co-owners of the members-only showroom, offered guests at the event the chance to win a free DirectBuy membership. So, in addition to an evening of fabulous food, wine and entertainment, the $85 cost for admission gives each attendee an automatic entry in the drawing for the membership, valued in excess of $5,000.00.

Moreover, Sarai has added that 50 percent of all proceeds for the event be donated to victims of the fires. Guests can sample wines from the Old and New worlds with plenty to eat. These dishes include a cheese-fruit platter, beef and chicken kabob sauté, coconut shrimp, crab cakes, kobe beef lobster and spinach ravioli, finished with an assortment of desserts. “You can be assured that no one participating in this fundraiser will go away hungry,” Sarai asserts.

“Robert is a fine person, makes delicious food, pours and sells a variety of wines, and is an outstanding member of the business community in Yorba Linda.  I am also proud he is a happy member of DirectBuy,” Rocke says. “We live in a great place, and when something as unpredictable as wild fires attacks our community, we’ve got to step up to help.”

Guests who attend this event can sip and stock up on wine for gift giving and entertaining. In addition to the food and wine, guests will mingle with live sensational music. “We live in interesting times, we want to help our neighbors directly and bring a little happiness into the situation,” Rocke says.

Rocke adds he intends to stock up on wines himself.  “Great selection and value—that’s what makes Versai the Wine Bar so appealing. We look forward to supporting our neighbors and this is more than fine food and wine pairings—it is a pair of local businesses reaching out.”

What to wear to a Wine Bar Birthday Party?

My co-workers Husband is throwing her a suprise birthday party at a wine bar (Houston – Corkscrew wine bar) . She will be turning 40. I am 21 and don’t know what to wear.

Me and my sis will go there around 630 then we will head to the club. I’m already tall (5’9) so i don’t wanna wear something to revealing (at least for her party).

*Jeans with cute shirt or a dress (long or short).
